Modular Web Solutions is a custom software development company based in Troy, Ohio, operated by Rob Harris. We build software for small businesses. Our website is mwsolutions.dev.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you submit a contact form, request a quote, request a demo, claim an offer, sign a document, or make a payment. This may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, project details, billing details, and any message you send us. If you check a phone or messaging consent box, we also store that consent choice, the date and time of consent, the form source, and the disclosure shown at the time.
We also collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, referring page) which are retained for security and diagnostic purposes only.
3. How We Use Your Information
Information you submit through our contact form is used to:
• Respond to your inquiry
• Prepare and send a project proposal
• Follow up on your request
• Send invoices, receipts, payment links, signatures, project updates, and support notices
• Send calls or text messages only when you have provided consent or when otherwise permitted by law
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Phone and Text Messaging Privacy
If you provide your phone number and opt in, Modular Web Solutions may contact you by call or text message about your inquiry, project, payment links, support, and occasional offers. Messages may be sent through third-party communications providers such as Twilio.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, shared, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share the minimum information needed with service providers who help us deliver calls, text messages, payment links, emails, hosting, security, and client support. Those providers are only permitted to use the information to provide services to us.
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You may request help by replying HELP or contacting rob@mwsolutions.dev.
5. Cookies
Our website uses a minimal cookie to store your cookie consent preference. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. If you use our client portal or admin system, session cookies are used to maintain your login state.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
• Supabase — database and authentication (data stored in the US)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Stripe — payment processing for invoices
• Twilio — calls and text message delivery when enabled
• Vercel or other infrastructure providers — website hosting and deployment
Each of these services has its own privacy policy and data handling practices. We do not control their policies.
7. Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained as long as necessary to manage our client relationship or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing rob@mwsolutions.dev.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at rob@mwsolutions.dev. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
